As part of his visit to Argentina to receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Buenos Aires, Dr. Martin Stratmann, President of the Max Planck Society, visited our Institute on 2 March.
In addition to receiving an honorary doctorate degree at the Faculty of Exact Sciences of the UBA, Dr. Stratmann spoke at the forum “What’s new in Science” at the German Embassy, and came to IBioBA to tour the facilities and talk about the ongoing projects.
During the visit, he toured the laboratories, talked with researchers, met with PhD students and young researchers, and held a meeting with the authorities of the Institute, with whom he agreed on the importance of scientific cooperation for the advancement of knowledge.
