Yesterday afternoon, Damian Refojo, head of the Molecular Neurobiology group, received a political delegation from Germany, headed by Mayor of the city-state of Hamburg, Peter Tschentscher.
During the visit, Damian together with the group leaders Nara Muraro and Antonia Marin-Burgin, showed them the Institute. After explaining some of the lines of research being carried out, they toured the laboratories, the flow cytometry area, the confocal microscopy room, and the Max Planck guest laboratory.
During the meeting, they also agreed on the importance of scientific cooperation between the two countries, in which the Max Planck Society plays a central role.
