Researchers from the Max Planck Heart and Lung Institute in Bad Nauheim (Germany) visited the Institute in the frame of the activities of the Guest Laboratory.
During the week of November 4, Dr. Rory E. Morty of the Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research (MPI-HL) from Bad Nauheim, Germany, visited the Institute, gave a seminar and discussed with researchers of IBioBA and the MPI-HL Guest Laboratory about the development of ongoing projects and future approaches. Drs. David Surate Solaligue and Claudio Nardiello from his Institute took also part of the activities.
This visit takes place in the frame of the long collaboration between the IBioBA and MPI-HL in projects that aim to understand the molecular bases that control hypoxia processes. Dr. Morty is an expert in the molecular bases that control lung development.
This visit seeks to synergy in the current studies between the groups of both institutes and the mission of the IBioBA Guest Laboratory, which constitutes an interesting model of international cooperation.
