Antonia Marin Burgin and Damián Refojo with Alon Chen, director of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry of Munich, Germany.
Damián Refojo and Antonia Marin Burgin, leaders of the group of Molecular Neurobiology and Neuronal Circuits, respectively, were invited to a meeting at the MPI in Florida, United States, attended by all the Max Planck institutes that work in Neurosciences.
For three days, from November 16 to 18, more than 40 researchers from Max Planck institutes participated in talks and seminars where they presented their latest advances.
“The goal was to strengthen ties with neuroscience institutes and research groups and to know their research lines“, said Marin Burgin, CONICET’s independent researcher at IBioBA.
Refojo, who is also a CONICET’s independent researcher at IBioBA, was invited to present his research.
“We presented the latest results from one of the research lines of our group, concerning a signaling pathway that occurs within the cell called neddylation, and that is practically not characterized,” he said.
